IT & Cybersecurity Affinity Group Gather to Discuss Emerging practices and Challenges

Modular Industry-Driven Apprenticeship Strategies (MIDAS) Representatives from Pennsylvania College of Technology (PCT), an SA grantee, shared a presentation on their modular industry-driven apprenticeship strategies, or MIDAS. Using these strategies PCT efficiently leverages their existing infrastructure, providing programs that meet the needs of employers.

New Apprenticeship model rule published March 10, 2020

The U.S. Department of Labor announced that it published a final rule that will help expand apprenticeships in the United States by establishing a system for advancing the development of high-quality, Industry-Recognized Apprenticeship Programs (IRAPs).  The rule itself was published March 10, 2020, and remains in the implementation phase until May 10, 2020 at which time it will begin active operations.
